Pretty Pretty
Beautiful isn't it? I don't know why I keep going back to the site to look at it. I first noticed it a few months ago when I was looking for gown inspirations for Jul. It's a Junko Yoshioka Jacqueline gown. I think the combination of the ivory lace embroidery against the white, and that the velour ribbon really speaks to me. Oh so pretty!

Bride Wars
Really hilarious. Bimbotic but hilarious. It brought to together all the stereotypical wedding prep woes and bridezilla moments - dream wedding of a lifetime, celebrity wedding planner, sought after venues, the "in" flowers, designer gowns ("You do not alter a Vera, you alter YOURSELF for the Vera") and much more. Enjoyed it very much.
Haha, but I would not aspire to be like Mary St-Clair in the movie, so stiff!! Are celebrity wedding planners like that??
I think at the end of the day, what matters most in a wedding is to be surrounded by loved ones and most of all, for the couple to enjoy themselves and have the time of their lives.

Online Shopping
Gosh I really have bad luck with online shopping. First, the dress I tried to buy (or rather, I did select and pay so I suppose that constitutes a buy) on Tskye was sold off to someone in the showroom and hence the inventory wasn't properly updated.
Then, I spent a really long time trying to get Amazon to recognise my VpostUSA address, and it still didn't even after several different attempts. So I decided to use ComGateway instead. Only after I bought and paid for my stuff at 2 stores did I realise that I did not input the shipping address correctly - I saw Sumner as Summer. Brilliant. At least for Amazon I could change it online but for the other store I had to call up the US customer service to let them know. Sigh.
Maybe I'm not meant to shop and this is the sign that the Powers That Be are sending me.
